Used cinema 4d and after effects with the Optical flares plugin
created by Andrew Kramer of Videocopilot.net.
I recommend fellow After effects artist buy it because it is a really great tool.

I did this using cinema 4d and After effects.

I created the character in 3ds max and mental ray rendered it. The background was created in photoshop along with the color correction.

Wizcorp Spartan

I created this image for and end game sequence for the 3d platformer I made using Unity 3d. I made this in 3ds max and rendered it with mental ray and the did some post stuff in photoshop. About 8 hrs to model and it rendered in 3min.

MMONG WATER GOD

This is A character I did when learning to model and use photoshop. Its an olde but a goodie at least to me it is. Enjoy!
